Body Vision Free Standing Pull Up Bar

The Body Vision PT600 Power Tower is a free standing pull up bar designed by Body Max. It is a multi-station workout tower for the upper and lower body. This machine comes with grips for chin-ups and pull-ups, a dip station for triceps and leg raise station for abs and squads. The foot grips double as push up bars and they are height adjustable. There is padding on the back and arms and it has a very sturdy base.

This product is 7 feet tall and weighs 71.6 pounds. This tower takes about one to two hours to assemble. One plus is that the instructions are very clear and it uses a wrench to assemble. It is a pretty sturdy tower that doesn’t tremble during exercise. As with other units, do not wrench tighten any bolts until the unit is completely assembled. Hand tightens them. Then, from the top down start using the wrench. The handles at the bottom are a bonus that works great as a push-up stand but also for a footrest. The push-up bra is great if you have trouble with pull-ups or are new to them. Also if you are shorter you can use the push-up bar to help yourself get up to do pull-ups.

Some things to watch out for are that make sure your dip bars are on the right side. It can be very easy to mistakenly put them on the wrong side. This machine is known to not shake even with heavier weights like 250. This machine has a complete pull-up bar. Most other machines only have wide grip pull ups, but with this one, you can also do close grip. This is important to target other muscles and switch up your routine, especially if you do P90X, as it requires a multitude of grips.
